SIGA Polytechnic College (SIGA) established in 1952 at Basin Bridge and relocated to Taylors Road,
Kilpauk in 1973, received AICTE approval in 2003, is a fully equipped Printing Institute with the
state-of- art technology to meet all the requirements of modern printing industry.
The state-of- the-art Pre-Press Unit, comprises of Computer to Plate processing unit, Apple Mac
Studio, Reso Digital Printing, (Digital master) and Digital Color Printing.
The state-of- the-art Offset Printing Press Unit comprises of Heidelberg single color Sheet-fed offset
Presses (KORZ, KORD, GTO), two Color Sheet-fed offset Presses (SORMZ, SORDZ), four Color
Sheet-fed offset Presses, Speed Master – SM 52, Speed Master – SM 72) and an eight Color Sheet-fed
offset Presses (Speed Master – 102XL).
The state-of- the-art Post-Press and converting unit consists of thermal lamination unit, flat-bed die
cutting machine, three knife trimmer machine, folding machine, saddle stitching machine and perfect
binding machine.
